This
was again a good night. It's maybe because of the physical effort of the day,
or the wild nature, or the sleeping on the ground, but what a deep night.
We didn't put the tent either today. Breakfast started with very thin pancake
(pretty close to crepes). Anyway, breakfast was just a big treat. I am not
talking about the yoga, or the stretches because they were really painful.
My muscles are giving up.
Today is a 10 mile flat stretch. We had to paddle with no real rapids. At lunch we enjoyed the tuna salad and we did play 2 hours volleyball. The field was nice in the middle of a superb green grass of a ranch. The thing is that it is really hot! Tonight we are on a nice beach with a tree and a woodpecker nest on it. The parents are restless.
Every 2 min in average they come back and feed their babies. This is impressive. But I am not jealous of the bird diet, because we are having home made lasagnas tonight and as we had our traditional beer after the day of paddling everything is fine! I am not talking about the wine that is in the cooler for the dinner. The lasagnas have been great!

After dinner we enjoyed marshmallows roasted on the firewood. A biscuit, a piece of chocolate, the melted marshmallow and another biscuit to make the sandwich. Then when the night has fallen, we played a very dangerous game, but funny. Put a half can of grease on the fire (grease from the week's cooking). Then wait about 30 minutes until it boils and that flames start to dig into the can. (The can is the size of a big can of beans). The game it to take a water bottle and from a distance spray the water in the oil. Result is a big ball of fire.

With all these emotions we went to bed.
Porky is doing the trip with Susan, but suffers from the lack
of showers!
