Paris, France

What to See, Where to Eat, ... (What we like !!)

Of course you will want to visit The Unmissable:

For all that, I won't redo the history. I won't either describe them.
You can find great information at the following location ( www.paris.org )

What I would like to give you it's tips about small none tourist place where you may enjoy spending some time.
As for the other pages, there is no warranty that you will like it, that the place will be open, it's at you own risk. Without risk life is nothing!!!!

Restaurants:

Typical french food. The place is lovely, but a little noisy. Food is excelente. Compte on 200F per person 3 course menu with wine (Pichet de la maison). Absolute need to reserve at least half a day in advance, crowded everyday of the week till 1am.
Chez Papa
75006 Paris
Tel:
Lovely restaurant in Saint Germain. Good French Food. All kind of languages spoken. Really friendly owners. Wall are full of tags as famous as John Baise. It's a  really Saint Germain spirit place. Dedicated to music and literature. Live piano and/or chorus on Friday evening.
Bars:
Utopia
rue de l'ouest 75014 Paris
Tel:
Bar Like I love them. Live music nearly every night. No electrical instruments. Usually good musicians, but not professionals are sometime performing there, and performing well.
Le petit Journal, Le Cambronne, and others ... (ou can find the addresses in the cheap and usefull magasin Pariscope) Piano bars where I like to go and listen to good jazz music.
Brunch at the Meridian Hotel
Montparnasse 75014 Paris

To spend a beautifull sunday noon. For 250F per person, you will be able to listen to a real Jazz formation (15 to 20 musiciens) leaded by Claude Bolling. You will for the same price have access to an "all you can" eat buffet. And the buffet is excellent, from typical french food, to algerian food and italian food.
