Magali & Laurent Butré
at the Magali & Laurent Butre. Both born in France in the 70s, from an Engineering background (Electronics and Mathematics), they grew up in France and love to travel around the world. During these trips they started to be captured by the magic of photography. For the past 10 years they have tried many different aspects of photography from the ancient homemade pin hole camera to the medium format and the panoramic. They also are interested in the chemical side of photography and experimented in their dark room black&white enlargement as well as cross-processing. Usually oriented toward the digital world and the world wide web, this exhibit at the "Photo District Gallery" in New York is their first public appearance with their primary format: B&W Panoramic.
