Sea kayaking is a pretty new activity. You can see some Wave Skis surfing the waves, you can also see long excursions off shore or around islands. You can also surf the waves in kayak. Sometimes dangerous, the breaking wave is often considered as a washing machine! To go through it you usually have to roll before the wave to have enough inertia. I took pleasure to surf among regular surfers. When you respect them, and apply the same priority on the wave, relations are not tense.

And as usual, you learn from your mistakes, because surfing in kayak is totally different from paddling on a river, everything is inverted! That can really surprise.
